The Bunny Klown, it's what's Burning this Spring

What is a Bunny Klown? The Bunny Klown is a giant flammable chocolate-colored Easter Bunny in circus clown make-up that's incinerated in observation of the turning of the seasons. It's also the centerpiece art project of a weekend-long camping trip. This participatory camping trip takes place over the weekend of March 22nd in a remote location in Central-East California, in an area of the Mojave Desert with the most primitive of camping conditions.

The Bunny Klown Camping Trip is an unpublicized, unticketed, *Participant Only* Burning Event. Though all attendees are encouraged creatively express their interpretation of Spring, Easter, and the turning of the seasons, the main focus of the trip is the erection and ignition of the Bunny Klown Sculpture and all campers are expected to contribute to its creation. While pets, children, and firearms are welcome along on the trip, large sound systems are specifically forbidden. This is the sixth year in a series of Spring Burns in the Mojave and, as in previous years, the details of the camping location are being kept very private.

Only those that voice their commitment to the project, to help clean up, and to keeping the location information private will be sent directions. If you would like to attend the 2008 Bunny Klown Camping Trip please contact KingOfBunnies(at)punk.

If you have any questions, feel free to post them in this discussion thread. Please do not discuss the location, as that should be kept private.
